DIY Ring Holder | Holy Chic

Today I am really excited because I am doing my very first DIY project on my blog and when I found out I could do this, I couldn’t wait to share it with you guys. It doesn’t require any gluing or stitching which screams amazing news for me because I am good at neither of those things!

I am going to show you how to make your own DIY ring holder. It is really simple and easy to make and so I hope you like this little project and let’s just get straight into it!

You will need:
A small to medium size box of your choice

 A pair of scissors

Chalk if you want to mark on lines of where to cut

An old t shirt (preferably long sleeved)

 And an assortment of rings

1.       Because I had a long sleeved shirt, I cut the sleeves of first to do this but if you don’t, you can skip straight to step two

2.       Okay so first you will need to take your t-shirt and measure the width of your t-shirt against the width of your chosen box. You can mark this with a white chalk or something.

3.       Then cut it into a long strip along the t shirt like shown in the picture.

4.       Then all you want to do is roll the shirt into a log shape like so and continue until you get a log shape like this Then place that into the box.

6.       Then continue steps 3, 4 and 5 until you create enough logs so that they are tightly compact in the box. You should be able to fit the width of 2 rings between the two rolls.

7.       And then you should have your completed set of rolls in your box.
And that’s it. Now you can place your rings into the little slots and create a display of your rings. This is my box that I did!

This DIY is really easy to do and of course you can use a different coloured t-shirt or put a pattern on the box if it is really plain. You can definitely make it your own.
I really hope I explained that well enough but if you do have any questions then ask them on twitter or the comments below and I will explain it as best as I can! :)
So I hope you enjoyed that little DIY and if you would like me to do more of these, please please please let me know in the comments so I can start looking for more ideas/inspiration for these projects!
