The Sunday post : build up to exams, freedom and summer

I seem to be leaving blog posts until the last minute but my weekends seem to be getting more hectic with revision. The worst thing it could get hectic with but it’s okay. Doing it all for uni. I am about go on a drive with my friend shortly but I have to squeeze in this week’s Sunday post for sure.

This week has been very hot. It has drained me and with revision on top of that, I am afraid to count how many 20minute cat naps I have had this week. As revision slowly starts to consume my life more and more for the next two months or so, you gotta plan or do some exciting things to get you through it.

London skyline is actually a dream to look at and although I have this calling to go to America, London is just so beautiful and I want to explore more of it. London isn’t boring, it’s just undiscovered to me.

As another form of procrastination is watching lots of films like Boyhood which was amazing btw. I will just patiently wait for manhood to come out. Louis Theorux and his documentaries never fail to fascinate me and keep me intrigued for an entire hour. And even modern family is just some light hearted comedy to help the time pass and have on in the background for revision. If YouTube is your cup of tea, I have been delving back into my subscription box and feeding this incessant need I had to watch youtubers. ThePersianBabe is actually life. But like I said, revision books must be open at all times ;)

I have been filming a few videos to carry me until potentially august/September time. It seems like so far away now but don’t worry, I have plenty of videos to come your way. Whilst filming, many swatches end up on the back of my hand which I have sometimes left there even when I have been out. But look, my nails are growing. Just in time for the warmer weather and my 6th form dinner

I think the worst thing of the week but also the funniest was the dentist. I had to get the dreaded filling but its okay because I looked funny for about half a day and anything to help your teeth is a good thing.

Some more exciting things coming up are travelling. I am supposed to be booking my flight to Amsterdam next week and I am beyond excited to see more of the world before I got to uni (fingers crossed). I also finally booked my driving test for in around under a months’ time and I just can’t wait to get my licence and finally legally drive in a car. The anticipation is killing me.

I now leave you with a picture of this weekend’s breakfast. Waffles with and omelette, strawberries and maple syrup. Is your mouth watering yet?

I hope you all have a great week and I’m going to get back to doing all the work I should have done starting this morning. Horary for last minuteness.

The Sunday Post : 2 weeks of bliss

Its back, I’m back, holy chic is back. And this is the first post of April. I have really been slacking on all ends of everything really but here is the low down on what I have been doing this Easter break and a little bit before that

First off, I must say I have really been enjoying the warmer weather spring has greeted us with. My skin as soaked it all up and basked in its warmth for sure. It also means you have another little friend tagging along with you – the shadow. But if the sun ain’t there, I am for sure inside and recently I have been browsing for more youtubers to watch. New ones can be a breath of fresh air but also great inspo for the mind and blog.

In other news, I passed my theory test. Why I am so overjoyed about this is 10 mins prior to taking it, I did a mock on at home and it said I would have failed (miserably) so super stoked about that. My test will be real soon, once I have money in the bank J

Something a little sneaky I also did was go on HOLIDAY! It was so nice to escape for a week and enjoy some music and just simply relax and unwind. Although it did interfere with Easter revision, it was hella worth it. I have a vlog all about it (yes a vlog can you believe it) coming tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled.

Being the television addict that I am, I finally came to the end of Gossip Girl which was so sad. It’s kinda obvious who it is all along but I still loved it soo much. I then watched and finished Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Do I have a problem? This show is another winner in my books and now I need something new to watch. Any suggestions for me?

The revision this break has been pretty much a no show but that just means I gotta work a little harder and a revision plan is in order. I hope I have this figured out like my brain seems to be reassuring me I do.

Breaking the bank seems to have also been in order this half term and I call this the rack of basics. It includes the beloved stripes, bland colours and my sixth form dinner dress might be hiding on there J a haul is coming soon DO NOT WORRY J along with the warmer weather, I have been using my Zara bag religiously as it is just my spring essential *hint hint* right now. I also dug out an old lipstick of mine from Collection’s gothic glam collection in Revenge 3 and I just loved it with my green checked shirt.

And to top it all off, I have been doing a tonne of filming, editing and picture taking. So much that I don’t think my laptop can handle it anymore and I may invest in the software soon. Super excited. Look out for new videos and vlogs soon

So there is the overdue ramble for ya. Next week will be spring week. A little late to the game but I still wanted to share some things with you. There will also be a vlog, another new sit down video and that lush haul and review you have been eager to find out about.

I now need to go and sort my life out before I get totally screwed over tomorrow at school. Hope you all had a fab Easter while it lasted and have a great week.
Love you all x

The Sunday Post : XOXO

I really have left todays Sunday post until the last minute to type words onto a page but better late than never right?

This week, although it didn’t feel like it, has been surprisingly jam packed and again, unbloggable. But I didn’t want to drag another one of those cats out of the bag.

I finally booked all of my hotels and train tickets for all of my little getaways for this month and although they are only small and for a very good reason, I am excited nonetheless and I’m sure they will be making a debut on the blog shortly. I also thought for some stupid reason that it was time to watch gossip girl. I know I know, you’re probably thinking WHY HAVE YOU NOT SEEN IT YET. But I can assure you I’m loving every minute of it right now and you best believe I paused an episode just to write this post.

I also took the hint with another set of podcasts in fact. Yes I am now listening to the Serial Podcasts and I am OBSESSED with it. (That might even be an understatement). I have always loved real life murder mysteries and a good who done it never hurt no one. I have started to slow down the rate I was listening to them to because it is so good, I never want it to end. And Sarah Koenig has a dream voice.

My final amazon order finally came in the post this week in the form of a book. Most of you might know that I actually despise reading and if you don’t, I’m sorry you had to find out this way and please don’t kill me ;). But I think studying English has just ruined that for me. I am excited to get stuck into the book upon recommendation and not have to worry about what the lines mean or how it can be linked to context. No highlighter or annotations are getting anywhere near this book.

I think Valentine’s Day may have extended this year over 2 days with the release of 50 shades and all. My school special for Friday was a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows and what a better way to wish yourself a happy Valentine’s Day that with a sweet treat for yourself. On Saturday I actually spent it with my one and only bae; my bed. No better day than to be lazy in bed and watch TV all day.

And we have made it to today, good old Sunday which annoyingly was another lazy day so I’m gonna start my work tomorrow. And because half term is here, I will enjoy waking up to birds chirping over my alarm telling me to get my ass out of bed. But I did make a grilled cheese and tomato toastie for brunch I guess you would call it and I devoured every last piece of that heaven on a plate. I pan fried it this time so the toast was nice ad crispy. Is that the right adjective if an adjective at all? Can you tell I’m an English lit student?

So I have detailed my week to you, tell me something about yours below. Next week is another busy one for me and I will be sure to capture what I can because sharing is often the best kind of post to get you out of a blogging rut. I hope you all have a fabulous half term

xoxo gossip girl

(Can you tell I’m really into gossip girl?)
