Mini Random Haul | Holy Chic

Hey guys!
So today I am doing a mini random haul for you and I’ve never actually done one as a blog post before so apologies if it isn’t up to scratch but I usually do them as YouTube videos but seeing as there wasn’t much to show you, I thought I could do it as a post.

So I realised that over the past couple of weeks I had piled up a few pieces from various stores and I wanted to show them to you so here goes! J

So here is an overview of everything I bought

Okay so I will start with rings, books and magazines.

I got the A/W13 Company Magazine which came with a freebie of two nail polishes. I cant see the specific names of the colours but I would say that there is a blood orange colour and a grey with a purple tint colour.

I also got two books called The Road by Cormac McCarthy and Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro which I am studying at school so I had to pick those up both from Waterstones.

I also got an assortment of mini rings from Primark which I love.

So if you can see there is two heart shaped ones, infinity sigh one, spiral one and just your regular gold bands. They are amazing and all together cost me £3.

Then I picked up some fashion pieces

So from left to right, I picked up a black with white blobs tube skirt which was £3.99 in H&M and I just love those basic skirts because they go with anything and everything. I also got a moons and stars t-shirt from Primark which was £5 and finally I got a semi sheer green long sleeved jumper which was £7.99 and also from H&M. I have wanted this jumper for ages and I’m so happy that I finally got my hands on it.

And finally I made a trip to the 99p store. Now judge me if you want but you can get some really good things in there that are well known brands e.g. Neutrogena, garnier, Clearasil, clean and clear etc. so definitely go an check out your local £1 store or 99p store from some awesome deals. This trip however, I wasn’t that impressed but that’s because most of the things I bought aren’t known brands so do not be put off from checking other places out for good deals.

So in this picture from left to right I picked up this Claudia Stevens Skin Toning Stick. To be honest, I should have read the label first because I thought it was a face toner in stick form but no, it isn’t. But I have yet to try this out so when I do I will let you guys know all about it.

Then I bought the Revitale collage and Q10 anti-wrinkle eye gel patches. Now these I really didn’t like because they slip and slide all down your face after application and just don’t do what it says on the box. However I would invest in something similar to this but of better quality. And in the picture I hope you can see what they look like and come in five treatments.

Then in the next picture from left to right, I bought the Simply Pure makeup remover wipes. These came in a pack of three and I was really impressed with these. They create a nice clean canvas for your moisturiser to go on top of, remove all of the dirt off of my face and just make it feel a lot softer in general and I would highly recommend theses. They come in a convenient size for travelling which is a bonus for me.

Next I got the New You eye makeup remover pads. These I don’t like at all. They come in like a square shaped pad form and the fact that it says that it even removes waterproof mascara is a complete lie. They don’t even remove normal mascara and I found that it hurt trying to remove it with those. They are not moist enough for that and I wouldn’t buy those again.

Next is the Derma V10 under eye roll on. I have wanted to try the garnier caffeine under eye roll on for the longest time but I found that it was just a bit too expensive and when I found this, I had to contain my excitement just a little bit. This is for all skin types, and it says it revives tired eyes and helps reduce dark circles and bags. I don’t know if it reduces bags under the eyes but it definitely revives tired eyes and dark circles. This has worked so well for me and I have even had compliments on people telling me that I look more awake because I never get enough sleep. The only think I could say is that it can feel very heavily under the eyes and greasy but just pat it dry with your ring finger and you should be good to go. I see this as a great dupe for the garnier one and I highly recommend it.

Finally I bought the Clearasil Ultra Daily Toner. I love Clearasil products and this was right up my alley as I was on the hunt for a new toner and I found the perfect one. This gets rid of dirt and oils and de clogs my pores so well and leaves my skin soft to the touch and refreshed. I love it so much and I highly recommend it.

So that is the end of my mini random haul. I hope you guys enjoyed this and if you want to see more posts like this, let me know in the comments so I can round up some more of my hauled items for you guys.
